These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and any purchases you make from us. By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms.

2. ABOUT OUR CONTRACT WITH YOU
2.1 These terms apply to all purchases made through our website.
2.2 Your order constitutes an offer to buy goods from us.
2.3 A legally binding contract is formed once we send you an order dispatch confirmation email.
2.4 We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. The version in force at the time you place your order will apply.
2.5 You must be at least 18 years old to place an order on our website.
2.6 We do not operate a substitution policy. You will receive the specific brand and product ordered; if an item is unavailable, we will contact you to discuss a refund or a delay rather than sending an alternative.
3. PRICES AND PAYMENT
3.1 All prices are shown in pounds sterling (£) and include VAT where applicable.
3.2 Delivery charges are clearly shown at checkout before payment is taken.
3.3 Payment must be received in full before your order is dispatched.
3.4 Weights and Measures: Many of our products (such as hand-carved ham or whole legs) are natural products. Stated weights are approximate. We aim for a variance of no more than +/- 10% of the advertised weight.
4. DELIVERY & DISPATCH
DISPATCH TIMES

Our cut-off for same-day dispatch is 12:00pm (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays).

Orders placed after 12:00pm will be dispatched the next working day.
DELIVERY SERVICE

We deliver to addresses in Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

We use DPD Fully Tracked Service. Most orders are delivered on the next working day after dispatch (GB), however customers should allow up to two working days for transit and courier delays.

Standard deliveries take place Monday to Friday. We do not deliver on Sundays or public holidays.
SATURDAY DELIVERY

We offer an optional Saturday delivery service at an additional cost. Orders must be placed by 12:00pm on the Friday before delivery.
TRACKING YOUR ORDER

It is the customer’s responsibility to monitor delivery tracking and be available to receive the goods. DPD’s online tracking is the primary source of delivery information.
5. FAILED DELIVERIES & UNCOLLECTED PARCELS
If delivery cannot be completed, DPD may divert the parcel to a local Pickup Shop. Parcels must be collected within 7 calendar days.
RETURNED PARCELS
If a parcel is returned to us due to an incorrect address provided at checkout or failure to collect within the 7-day period, we will refund the product price minus the actual courier costs incurred:

6. PERISHABLE GOODS & FOOD SAFETY
6.1 Our products are perishable food items. For hygiene and food safety reasons, we do not accept returns once goods have been dispatched, except where the goods are faulty or damaged.
6.2 Storage Requirements: Upon delivery, products must be stored correctly.

Vacuum-packed meats: Must be kept refrigerated (typically $0$°C to $5$°C) unless otherwise stated on the packaging.

Whole Hams (on the bone): Should be removed from all transit packaging, hung or placed in a ham holder in a cool, dry place ($15$°C to $20$°C), and away from direct sunlight.

Failure to follow specific storage instructions provided on the packaging or our website will void any claim for spoilage.
7. FAULTY OR DAMAGED GOODS
If your order arrives damaged, faulty, or with a compromised vacuum seal, you must contact us as soon as possible (ideally within 14 days, though your statutory rights extend to 30 days for a refund).
Please provide:

A clear photograph of the product and the packaging.

Do not dispose of the item until we confirm next steps.
Confirmed faults will be resolved via replacement or a full refund.
8. PRODUCT DEGRADATION & RISK
Risk in the goods passes to you once delivery is completed to the address provided or the parcel is made available for collection. We are not responsible for spoilage caused by:

Failure to monitor tracking or be available for delivery.

Failure to collect from a Pickup Shop within 7 days.

Incorrect storage after delivery.
9. CONSUMER RIGHT TO CANCEL
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, the right to cancel within 14 days does not apply to perishable goods. Cancellation for "change of mind" is not available once goods have been dispatched.
10. OUR LIABILITY
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud. We are not liable for losses resulting from incorrect delivery details provided by you or failure to follow storage instructions.
11. USE OF OUR WEBSITE
All content (text, images, and logos) is our intellectual property. Product images are for illustrative purposes; because these are natural products, the marbling and appearance may vary slightly from the images shown.
12. GOVERNING LAW
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
