Granadul Gran Reserva is one of the finest and most distinctive Serrano hams available and is made without the use of chemical additives or preservatives. The 15 month curation period allows the ham to develop a delicate, sweet and slightly nutty flavour, whilst ensuring the texture remains succulent and tender. The meat is dark pink to ruby coloured, is discreetly grained and has a melt-in-the-mouth quality. This makes Granadul Gran Reserva ideal for both connoisseurs and new entrants to the world of fine Spanish ham.

This ham comes with a discounted Banqueta Set (50% off the standard price of £19.95) which contains a sturdy pine wood stand (sourced sustainably) and a long, flexible knife for slicing. We have also included a copy of our cutting guide which will help you master the basics of safely slicing and serving ham.

Type of ham

This leg of Serrano ham is the highest grade available (Gran Reserva) and is made from specially selected white pigs. To achieve Gran Reserva status, Serrano legs are cured for at least 15 months. The longer curation periods result in a more intense flavour and a darker colour of meat compared with other Serrano grades. The ham is delivered as a whole leg with bone.
