Arbequina Extra Virgin Olive oil is easily distinguished by the clear golden-green colour and the aroma of apples, bananas, and almonds. It tastes sweet, with a slightly bitter finish. It won the First Prize in the category "Frutado maduro" (taste of ripe fruit), awarded by Diputación de Málaga. With an acidity of less than 0.1% it is ideal for preparing mayonnaise or cold "salmoreja" and "gazpacha" soups.
